The role of manufacturing in the country’s economy and societal development has long been established through their wealth generating capabilities. To enhance and widen our knowledge of materials and to increase innovation and responsiveness to ever-increasing international needs, more in-depth studies of functionally graded materials/ tailor- made materials, recent advancements in manufacturing processes and new design philosophies are needed at present. The objective of this conference is to bring together experts from academic institutions, industries and research organizations and professional engineers for sharing of knowledge, expertise and experience in the emerging trends related to design, advanced materials processing and characterization, advanced manufacturing processes.

He has toiled day and night for overades to bring health, education, prosperity and happiness to one of the most backward regions of the country.
He is in active public life for more than 39 years. He was member of Parliament in Lok Sabha for four terms, out of which three term were consecutive & was member of parliament in Rajya Sabha for one term & handled different portfolios as a Cabinet and State Minister. He strongly believes that quality Education & Health only can bring about true transformation of the huge human resources of our nation. Under his visionary leadership, the Institutions have grown qualitatively and all the eligible Institutions are quality assured by the respective accrediting agency. The result is the multifaceted Meghe group with interests in Health Care, Realty & Infrastructure, Information Technology, Banking & Textiles in the co-operative sector as well as major initiatives in the CSR sector.
